Can I order The New Luncher’ lunchbox to any school?

How do I order?

We wish to make everything easy and convenient for your family.
Our Monthly Meal Plan is a peace of mind solution and very flexible.
Select which days of the week you want lunchbox delivered, tell us what options you would like included (desserts, fresh fruites or snacks) -- and we propose a meal plan for the month based on your preferences. Easy – Convenient – Flexible!

Is there a minimum order with The New Luncher?

No minimum! The New Luncher is here to accommodate your family needs!

How far in advance do I have to order?

As we buy only fresh ingredients and try to avoid any food waste we need your order 3 business days before delivery.

Will my Subscription Meal Plan auto-renew? When do you charge my credit card?

We continue to deliver your child until you decide to stop. Based on your child’s preferences, we send you, every 20th of each month, an email with the upcoming meal plan. On the 25th, we charge your credit card.
You can always add or skip meals at any time or even cancel your entire subscription just by logging in to your account and making the changes. It has to be minimum 3 business days before delivery and we will issue a complete refund immediately.

I forgot my password – How do I reset it?

If you’ve forgotten your password and need to have it reset, follow these simple steps:

  • Go to www.thenewluncher.com
  • Click on Log in then Forgot my password
  • We will send you an email to reset your password

Can I change or cancel my order?

Absolutely! Up to 4 business days before the date of the delivery.
To do so, login at wwwthenewluncher.com then select the day, click CHANGE or CANCEL and then confirm. We will then refund your account immediately.

OUR FOOD PHILOSOPHIE / MENUS

Where do you source your ingredients?

We work closely and choose carefully the highest-quality ingredients to cook our menus from our trusted partners / suppliers/farmer each week.

Are your ingredients organic?

When possible we try to source organic ingredients but not 100% of the ingredients we use are organic. However, we never use MSGs, processed foods, artificial colour or flavours nor anything fried. All is homemade!
We care deeply about both the quality of our ingredient and keeping our menus affordable.

How do you create your menus?

We have new menus every month!
Every month we define the perfect monthly menus, 3 options each day: western, Asian and vegetarian.
How to make sure that kids will like our food? Pretty simple: we invite them to our tasting session and let them decide and vote for their favourite dishes. We will never put into their plate a meal not validated by them!
Along the way we receive feedback from children, parents and schools and this is how we are able to always improve our menus.

How often do you repeat your recipes?

No fixed rules but we definitely do not practice a fixed monthly menu rotation. We try to make the best of what nature has to offer and use as many seasonal products as possible. And most importantly we always listen to our “mini food critics”. That way we are able to bring back recipes with high success rate and change those that are less appreciated.

How many daily choices do I have? Do you have vegetarian option?

Everyday, we offer 3 choices to ease everyone:

  • Western
  • Asian
  • Vegetarian

Do you offer snacks, drinks and desserts?

We offer daily options for starters, snacks, desserts or fruits salad for an additional cost at S$2. All add-ons will be packed with your child’s lunch so he will receive them with his lunch.
All is homemade!

Is your kitchen certified halal?

Not yet! But we will make it happen if you want to and if numerous families ask us! How? Ask us by email at [email protected]

Can I make special requests for my child’s meal?

When creating a “Luncher” profile we request some information about your child’s preferences as well as allergies which we then take into account when proposing the monthly meal plan. You will have three daily meals to choose from and also you can add starter, snack or dessert.

PORTIONS & SIZES

What age ranges do you cover?

The New Luncher aims to ease everyone. Our menus are tailored for children from 4 years old, all the way up to high school and yeah! Also for Adults as school’s staff. We have 2 portion sizes:

  • Little Luncher is recommended for ages 4-8.
  • Classic Luncher is recommended for ages 9 & up.

Can school staff order, too?

We create and cook Good Food, every day for everyone! So if you are an adult, you can also enjoy our menus at school!

ALLERGIES & FOOD SAFETY

My child is allergic to specific food, can I still order your menus?

Our kitchen is nut and shelfish free.
We never use MSGs, preservatives, artificial colors or flavors.
If you have special food concerns, please call or email us at [email protected] and we'd be happy to consult with you individually.

The New Luncher is here to accommodate your family needs! If your child has an allergy that we don’t deal with at the moment please let us know and we will do our best to cater to you as soon as possible.

SICK DAY, HOLIDAY, FIELD TRIP

What if my child is sick?

A sick day means you have ordered lunch for your child and he didn't show up to collect it because he was sick and did not go to school on that day.
As we cook fresh food every morning -- please understand that we won’t be able to provide last-minute cancellations or refunds. When your child is ill, we ask the school to find someone who’d enjoy the uneaten meal or you can also drop by the school at lunchtime to pick up the meal. It's up to you!
If you know your child will be absent from school for more than 3 days please log in to your account and cancel the lunch for the needed period and we will issue the refund.

What about fied trips or holidays?

We do our best to synch up with the school’s calendar and customize your monthly meal plan.
On holidays or vacations, the day will be closed for ordering. If there is a field trip for certain classes, we'll add a reminder for parents not to order on that day (we can't deliver on field trip days because students usually leave the school before our lunches arrive.) On class field trip days, we rely on parents to either not order or cancel the meal (please remember, you need to make cancellations 3 business days in advance).

DELIVERY & PACKAGING

When and who will deliver lunch to my child?

Lunchbox is delivered to school mid morning by our delivery ambassadors. The distribution may vary by school, but there is always an adult to oversee the distribution of lunchboxes.

Will I be informed if my child did not pick up his lunch?

We will inform his teacher in priority before warning you, but please do not worry! You child will get his lunch in any way if he is at school!

How much does delivery cost?

Absolutely nothing! With The New Luncher delivery is always free!

How is lunch packaged? Do you use recyclable / eco-friendly containers?

We use sustainable packaging for all our menus and add-ons. We will constantly review our packaging options for each type of meal we offer to find the best solution between food safety, sustainability, economy, and ease of meal distribution for our schools.
